Very pleased to announce that our resident studio drummer Dylan Wissing has contributed drum tracks to two albums that got Grammy nominations in 2014 – Kanye West’s Yeezus (Best Rap Album) and Girl on Fire by Alicia Keys (Best R&B Album). This makes a career total of four Grammy nominations and one win (Drake, Take Care, Best Rap Album 2013) for Wissing. Fingers are crossed for the awards show January 26th…

Recorded a mere two weeks before the album hit stores, Dylan Wissing of Indie Studio Drummer adds drum tracks to the lead song on Kanye West’s latest release Yeezus. Appearing in the tune “On Site,” drums were recorded at Triple Colossal Studios in Hoboken, NJ and mixed by industry heavyweight Ken Lewis. The song was produced by Kanye and Daft Punk. Percussionist (and Triple Colossal Studio Manager) Matt Teitelman makes his major label debut on the same track.
